Farsa by Sospiro Perfumes is a new unisex Oriental Woody fragrance launched in 2025, created by perfumer Anne-Louise Gautier. Dramatic, opulent, and richly textured, Farsa plays with contrast—sweet and smoky, boozy and resinous—unfolding like a theatrical act where every note has presence and purpose.
The fragrance opens with an intoxicating blend of saffron, rum, blackcurrant, and pink pepper. Saffron brings a golden, leathery warmth, rum adds a dark boozy richness, blackcurrant contributes a tart, juicy edge, and pink pepper sparks the opening with lively spice.
In the heart, amber, cocoa, cedarwood, and geranium create a deep, sensual core. Amber glows warmly, cocoa adds a velvety gourmand nuance, cedarwood provides structure, and geranium introduces a green-floral freshness that keeps the composition balanced and refined.
As Farsa settles, it reveals a powerful and lingering base of patchouli, ambergris, oud, and musk. Patchouli grounds the fragrance with earthy depth, oud adds smoky intensity, ambergris lends mineral warmth and radiance, and musk wraps everything in a smooth, sensual trail.
