Aira by Sospiro Perfumes is a new unisex Oriental Woody fragrance launched in 2025, created by perfumer Nathalie Templer. Dark, atmospheric, and deeply evocative, Aira explores the raw, primal side of perfumery—where smoke, earth, and animalic warmth converge in a powerful, sensual composition.
The fragrance opens in a dramatic swirl of incense, patchouli, oriental notes, amber, and woody notes. Smoky and resinous from the first breath, the opening feels ritualistic and immersive, setting a solemn, mysterious tone.
At the heart, cumin, earthy notes, and labdanum take over, adding warmth, depth, and an almost tactile intensity. Cumin brings a subtly animalic spice, earthy notes ground the composition, and labdanum introduces ambered richness and shadowy sensuality.
The base is deep, commanding, and unforgettable. Oud, animal notes, dry woods, and ambergris merge into a dark, resinous trail that feels ancient and magnetic. The oud adds smoky depth, ambergris contributes salty-mineral warmth, and animalic nuances give Aira its bold, skin-close sensuality.
