Epine de Rose strips the rose of its usual delicacy and arms it with steel. Here, the “flower of flowers” shows its dual nature: luminous and cutting. A bright spark of mandarin and the snap of fresh ginger set the petals shimmering, while pricks of pepper hint at danger. Then the mood deepens—agarwood, incense, and limbanol reveal a shadowed, resinous core, as if the blossom wore armor of smoke and wood. The result is a rose with thorns: magnetic, modern, and irresistibly untamed.
