Almanera Eau de Parfum is more than just a fragrance—it's a promise. This scent was inspired by a complex interplay of elements, a chess game between my "white soul" and my "black soul," where the freshness of star anise, the sweetness of dried fruits and caramelized sugar, the warmth of rose and (white) milk all came together. But above all, it was the promise of coffee—the small yet powerful black liquid—that prevailed, symbolizing certainty and the beginning and end of each day for many.
The fragrance opens with an invigorating burst of Coffee, Cardamom, Dried Fruits, Star Anise, and Davana, creating an aromatic blend that is both fresh and complex. This energetic start is balanced by the softness of Milk, Spun Sugar, Rose, Jasmine, and Lily-of-the-Valley in the heart, offering a delicate sweetness and floral warmth that enhances the deeper notes.
As the fragrance settles, the base notes of Tolu Balsam, Amber, Myrrh, Musk, and Fir provide a rich, grounding foundation, enveloping the wearer in a comforting and sensual finish.
