City Rhythm - St John

St. John captures the essence of a true tropical paradise—untouched, authentic, and far removed from the typical tourist hotspots. My journey with this island began in 2015, sparking a profound inspiration that led me deeper into the art of perfumery. Determined to craft fragrances that embodied the tropics, I sought knowledge from seasoned artisanal and Indie perfumers, immersing myself in the creative process. It was a challenging path, but every moment was a labor of love.

However, my journey took an unexpected turn when I lost my father around the time I began my studies. Grief dimmed my passion, and for a while, I stepped away. Then, one night, I had a dream. My father’s hand reached through the window, pointing directly to a bottle of quince among my perfume materials. The message was clear. The next morning, I added quince to the formula I had been struggling with, and everything clicked. It was the missing piece that reignited my purpose and drove me to finish what I had started.
