Cèdre Figalia by Atelier Materi is a new unisex Woody Aromatic fragrance launched in 2024, composed by perfumer Céline Perdriel. Fresh, green, and elegantly structured, it explores the meeting point between fig’s lush vegetal facets and the dry nobility of cedar—an ode to nature rendered with modern precision.
The fragrance opens with a vibrant aromatic lift of basil, bergamot, and allspice. Basil delivers crisp green brightness, bergamot adds citrus clarity, and allspice introduces a subtle warmth that energizes the opening without weighing it down.
In the heart, a distinctly green, contemporary accord unfolds. Fig leaf brings milky-green freshness, mate adds aromatic depth and gentle bitterness, and spinach contributes a vegetal, mineral nuance—creating a refined, garden-like atmosphere that feels alive and textured.
The base settles into a clean, confident trail of fig, cedar, and dry wood. Here, the fig becomes softer and more rounded, while cedar provides structure and elegance, supported by dry woods that leave a crisp, natural finish.
