Composed by perfumer Émilie Coppermann for A Lab On Fire, Hallucinogenic Pearl is a romantic, soft floral oriental focused around violet, iris, and a peppery suede. Both modern and wistful in tone, Hallucinogenic Pearl is a landscape painted in the gauziest lilac, mauves, and violets, with a touch of pearlescent grey thanks to the chilled, buttery Iriseine de Laire, one of those famous De Laire bases that once made perfumery great. A feather-soft leather, as smooth as whipped cream, wraps the composition in its cool embrace. Divine, and equally suited to a man as to a woman.
