Great Lord by Vilhelm Parfumerie is a new unisex Oriental Woody fragrance launched in 2025, created by perfumer Jérôme Epinette. Majestic, layered, and boldly refined, Great Lord explores power and elegance through a rich interplay of fruit, spice, leather, and ambered warmth.
The fragrance opens with a sumptuous blend of Italian mandarin, cardamom, and plum. Mandarin brings bright citrus lift, cardamom adds aromatic spice, and plum introduces a dark, juicy sweetness that immediately sets a regal tone.
At the heart, complexity and depth unfold. Oakmoss and immortelle add earthy, resinous richness, while Chinese osmanthus contributes a leathery-fruity nuance. Leather, violet, and saffron layer in texture and contrast—powdery floral softness meeting smoky spice and refined animalic warmth.
