Carved Oud by Thameen is a unisex Oriental Woody fragrance released in 2013, crafted as a rich, opulent interpretation of oud that balances spice, woods, and warm resins. Deeply textured and exquisitely layered, it captures the essence of craftsmanship—like a precious piece of wood intricately carved to reveal its hidden soul.
The fragrance opens with an aromatic and spicy blend of Guatemalan cardamom, cypriol oil (nagarmotha), cypress, and pink pepper. These notes create an invigorating introduction that is simultaneously cool, smoky, and gently fiery.
At the heart, the composition unveils its star note: agarwood (oud). The oud is complemented by cedar, patchouli, and iris, forming a complex, elegant accord. Cedar adds clarity and dryness, patchouli brings earthy depth, and iris contributes a soft, powdery refinement.
