The Fragrance

LIVE 'N' LOUD is a scented compilation whose notes reproduce, through the aromatherapeutic power of smells, similar beneficial sensation as music genres. It is a playlist that boosts the mind, an opulent yet celebratory fragrance which starts with a hint of Disco and Hip-hop and then turns into more sensual accords of Latino and Rock. Punk and Heavy Metal perform in the end to give power and adrenaline.

The Inspiration - Music

Music is the answer to a myriad of emotional needs. It doesn't matter which genre, music has the power to inspire multiple responses - physiological, emotional, cognitive and behavioural - at a very personal level. Recent research has proven that listening to music improves our mental well-being and boosts our physical health. Need an example? Reggae, Blues and New Age are perfect when you need to chill out and relax, while Disco, Rock or Punk, with their high-energy, will immediately uplift your mood. Try to imagine a world without music: in just a second you would realise how much music matters! Music genre conveys specific benefits, so we can make the most of them by mixing up our playlists every once in a while.

As is the case with music, scent can be used to enhance and improve our well being, since it has a direct impact on the nervous system: positive olfactory memories will help self- confidence and distress. Most smells have an aromatherapy effect and essential oils can be used to enhance our well-being (like bergamot or eucalyptus), reduce stress and anxiety (lavender, ylang-ylang, geranium) or recharge the energy level (black pepper, cardamom, citrus).

The Packaging

Everything in the world of JUSBOX is inspired by music, even the packaging. The squared, modern, elegant, ergonomic bottle is a 78 ml to pay homage to the first phonographic disc that was 78 rpm. On its top, the cap celebrates the most well known auditory mean in the history of music: the vinyl. The rigid soft touch box is similar as shape and opening to a CD box. Inside you will find a leaflet that explains the inspiration and mood of each perfume.
