Sutra Ylang is a very grand, spicy oriental that feels as if it might have been made in the 1970s when most of the good old ingredients were still around. The herbal, spicy topnotes see a very woody, warm cardamom join forces with citrus and bay leaf notes, which clears the way for a creamy bouquet of roses, cardamom, ylang, and carnation in the heart. Still piquant and bristling with spices in the base, a smooth sandalwood provides a silky soft finish to the scent. Now this is what we call a modern-day oriental!
