Rosa di Filare combines timeless elegance and pure femininity! A woody, floral musk, it combines a heady rose with patchouli. In the top notes, a bouquet of citrus and fruity notes (bergamot, mandarin, black currant, and litchi) shimmers and fizzes like an electric wire, before parting to allow the sensual Turkish and Bulgarian roses to peek out. The rose is made creamy and green with the addition of lily of the valley, and slightly powdery with the appearance of iris root. Underscoring the fresh, green watery feel in the heart is a touch of bamboo. The base is a warm, woody oriental one, with notes of cedar, patchouli, and amber lending depth and sweetness.
