Rouge Sarây by Atelier des Ors is a unisex Oriental fragrance launched in 2020, created by perfumer Marie Salamagne. Opulent, sensual, and irresistibly warm, Rouge Sarây evokes the splendor of an imagined Eastern palace—where ripe fruits, spices, and resins glow under golden light.
The fragrance opens with a rich and inviting blend of plum, cinnamon, and jasmine. Plum brings dark, juicy sweetness, cinnamon adds a warm, spicy pulse, and jasmine lends a soft floral radiance that lifts the opening.
At the heart, dates, patchouli, and heliotrope deepen the composition. Dates enhance the gourmand richness with syrupy warmth, patchouli adds earthy depth, and heliotrope introduces a powdery, almond-like softness that smooths the transition toward the base.
The dry-down is creamy, resinous, and deeply comforting. Vanilla and Peru balsam provide sweetness and balsamic warmth, while guaiac wood and sandalwood add smoky, creamy woods that give the fragrance its luxurious, long-lasting trail.
