Acqua di Portofino -R`osa

Portofino is certainly the most famous fishing village in the world and also the playground of the rich and beautiful. No other port could boast of playing host to as large a number of luxury yachts as the town of Portofino on the Gulf of Tigullio. The narrow fishermen's houses in the town are decorated in colours of mustard yellow, ochre, and pink.

Acqua di Portofino captures this range of colours in olfactory form, in R'osa, and through its name links the scent to the Italian word for dare, which is osare. The woman who wears this is elegant and she dares.

The Scent

R'osa is a floral oriental fragrance with gourmand nuances and touches. A mouth watering sally of mandarin, mango, and vanilla in the opening notes eventually settles to reveal a floral heart teeming with damask roses and jasmine. The heady warmth and richness of the florals are met with a toffee-like amber in the base, and a final powdery trail thanks to a fat cushion of white musk. Stunning.
