Empathy describes the magical moment in an Arab garden when daydreaming meets reality – a moment where all time slows down, allowing our minds to empty completely and be filled up with the colors and scents of the flowers in the garden. A moment of complete peace and tranquility. And of beauty.

Empathy captures the strange alchemy that occurs when two soul mates meet and recognize each other. Like a small, deliberate pause in a harmonious musical score, the moment of silence seems to stretch on forever, deepening the colors and sensations at either side of the moment. Words and gestures are completely superfluous – everything that needs to be said has already been communicated silently, passing between the two souls like an electrical charge.
