Sotto la luna is Italian and means "under the moon". Sotto la luna is the name of an own series of Tauer perfumes; Gardenia explores the wondrous facets of a gardenia in the nocturnal moonlight.

"I see a few clouds, a creamy gardenia shining into the night under a bright moon, secluded from the busy day world under the sun", Andy Tauer describes the mysterious nocturnal flowers-moonlight-romance which was the ideational origin of the perfume: "The moonlight feels like a luminescent fluid poured over a shadow land. (...) It is a world that is secluded, private in a sense. The world is sleeping. The busy human world has come to a rest."

THE FRAGRANCE

The peaceful magic of nocturnal silence: Gardenia is the fragrant vision of a silvery, moonlit serenity. The fragrance opens with spicy freshness, transforming gradually into a round, pale green, flowery fragrance. The memory of many different flowers resonates when the gardenia unfolds its petals in the moonlit night ... before sinking, finally, in a powdery, soft bed of moss and creamy floral woodiness.
