Since 2006, Sidonie Lancesseur has been a perfumer at Robertet, a natural ingredients company based in Grasse, southern France.For her perfume compositions, she prefers concise and precise formulations, which give each raw material used the respect and space it deserves. Tendre is no exception: here Sidonie has translated the sensuality of milky, frosted glass into perfume form by using, as she herself explains, “the idea of ??a rose petal, as velvety as a second skin.” The tender, trembling delicacy of this skin-like rose petal is flanked on both sides by complementary notes, such as a crisp, radiant pear, dewy muguet, and a creamy floral powder beneath that feels like a luxurious pomade or bath powder. A delicious and delicate rose poudrée, therefore, that captures the milky frothiness of frosted glass to perfection.
