Gritti – Privée – Lu

LU is a playful young woman, sometimes melancholy, sometimes full of daydreams, and sometimes fill of the joy of life. A young woman who knows the splendor and history of historic Venice, but who nonetheless carries no sense of serious tradition within her – not yet. A woman who loves with gay abandon the way daylight floods the Piazza San Marco in the morning, blowing out all the shadows, the fluttering of pigeon wings, the gentle breeze that dances around the faces of the statues on the Doges Palace, and the magnificent colors of the gondolas floating idly in the water below the bridges where she walks, as well as the charming words the gondoliers call out to her, in homage to her fresh, innocent young beauty.

LU is a scent dedicated to this young woman. The composition is centered around a pure, noble Damask rose, created using only the purest of rose ottos, resting on a lightly sensual bed of musk, cedar, and ambergris.
