Powerfully diffusive and radiant, Sweet William is a spicy carnation oriental to rival the great Opium. At its core lies a hot, clovey carnation with its powdered, retro feminine appeal, flanked on either side by a rich variety of spice – white pepper, cinnamon, ginger, and cardamom – that makes the carnation sing out. Once the peppery wall of spice simmers down, a sultry floral emerges, a mixture of buttery ylang, iris, and sweet, pink roses. A gentle slide into a powdery but smoky bath of radiant amber, iris, and vanilla base marks the best way to calm and soothe the trail of hot spice.
