Byredo Parfums – Bal d’Afrique – Kabuki Perfume
Kabuki brushes were originally used in the traditional Japanese theater to apply white make-up to the face. Today, Kabuki brushes are a popular make-up accessory for applying loose powder. Byredo’s Kabuki perfume is inspired by this great and long tradition. It is a very special and very noble way to apply perfume: with the Kabuki brush, you can apply deliciously scented perfume powder to your skin. Kabuki perfume – a very special, powdery perfuming ritual!
This warm and romantic vetiver-based scent was inspired by Paris in the late 1920´s and its infatuation with African culture, art, music and dance. A mix of the Parisian avantgardism and African culture shaped a unique and vibrant expression. The intense life, the excess and euphoria is illustrated by Bal d´Afrique´s neroli, Moroccan cedarwood and African marigold.
